The minds behind David Shapiro Enterprises
Co-producers David Shapiro and Ilene Alter have collaborated on diverse production projects that have changed the world, from creating the first web video series for SunTrust Bank (now known as Truist) to capturing legendary athlete Jack Nicklaus designing his golf course in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, from overseeing the promo video spotlighting Coca-Cola’s installation of solar energy resources to producing the documentary on King David that screens at his final resting place in Israel.
Dave Shapiro - Director/Editor
Dave began his narrative film career at age nine, adapting O’Henry’s “After Twenty Years” for an oral book report assignment. This exercise ignited the fiery passion for visual storytelling that still continues to grow each year. Since earning his Motion Picture/Television degree from UCLA’s prestigious film school, his creative skills have focused on inciting and exciting viewers across the globe.
Ilene Alter - Producer
Ilene has served DSE as an active, conscientious video producer for nearly two decades. She applies her impeccable eye for detail and sense of timing to overseeing the firm’s most innovative and meaningful projects. Throughout our professional adventures, she champions each client’s unique needs, presiding over DSE’s world-class presentations from conceptualization to final delivery.
Jack Winch - Director of Photography
Serving as our primary and accomplished DP, Jack determines the most-aesthetically appealing ‘arrangements of perspective’ within DSE’s various production projects, never not impressing and visually uplifting all parties immersed within our storytelling pursuits.
Dianne Eberhardt - UX/UI Designer
As our talented UX/UI designer, Dianne applies techniques to generate strong emotional appeal that benefits from an intuitive navigation experience. Her expertise enhances clients’ impressions of DSE and motivates their participation within the creative process.
Charli Shapiro - Camera Operator
Discovering her passion for production early in life, Charli has learned of the world by studying people of various eras and walks of life. Aside from her work with DSE, Charli’s gift for visual storytelling earned her the role of Camera Production Assistant on a recent film set helmed by Oscar-winning director, Damien Chazelle.
Mikenzi Ross - Copywriter
Kenz grew up in a traveling band and spent most of her life telling stories to whomever would listen. Now she empowers video producers and business owners alike, with effective and persuasive copywriting services that create meaningful relationships between messengers and their newly-receptive audiences.
Lake Petty - Chief Animator
Lake has always carried their musical theater background with them, forming these skills into a knack for creating multifaceted characters and animations. They have assisted in numerous media arts endeavors for their alma mater and are proud to have helped create the awarding-winning short film, Cat Burglar.
